Course Overview
This superb one-day course is designed to teach health professionals how to effectively assess and manage patient with a variety of minor injuries. The day consists of theory, with an element of practise, enabling you to have the opportunity to safely practice the assessments, you have been taught.
- The day will consist of the following sessions:
- The principles of history taking and limb assessment
- Upper limb examination, based on the wrist
- Lower limb examination, based on the ankle
- Wound assessment
- Head & neck injury assessment
This course gives the theoretical knowledge to perform a thorough minor injury assessment, enabling informed clinical decision making and treatment plans.
